The All-In-One Benchtop Confocal

Aurox Unity is a compact, all-in-one benchtop Laser-Free confocal microscope engineered for live-cell imaging with high speed, high resolution, and ease of use. It features laser-free, multispectral LED illumination to minimize photo-toxicity and photobleaching, while delivering confocal and widefield imaging with a single tap. Unity supports time-lapse, Z-stacks, tile scans, multi-channel imaging, and multi-position experiments.

Controlled via an integrated iPad app, it offers plug-and-play setup, minimal maintenance, and a self-contained design with built-in data storage. The system accommodates plates, dishes, or slides, and can be integrated into clean lab environments thanks to its compact and robust construction.

Efficient and Affordable

• Unity incorporates Aurox’s light efficient structured illumination technology and a spinning disc to achieve high resolution, confocal images at high-speed.
• The enhanced light budget generated by a structured illumination disk means the light source can be LED. This in turn means fast acquisition low phototoxicity and keep live cell happier longer. Its even more cost effective.

Compact Form

• With a small footprint to fit the bench, it’s great for labs with limited space, for use in a laminar flow hood, and ideal to use in a CAT-3 laboratories.
• No need to have a dark room as it is fully enclosed.

Multimodal Imaging

• Flexible imaging modes for brightfield and confocal, easily switchable from one to another. With software support for XYZ, Time, Multi Channel and Tiling, all imaging parameters can be configured.
• Choose the sample format you want to work with from single dish to multi-dish, slides or multiwell plates from 6 to 384 well.

Live Cell Ready

• Low phototoxicity for live cell imaging with stage heating as standard and connection for CO2/O2 and humidity available, full environmental control will keep your cells alive for longer.

High-Speed

• Patented structured illumination and spinning disk technology allows Unity to acquire high resolution confocal images at up to 40 frames per second, ideal for live cell studies, multiple sample imaging and large z series tile scans.
• Ideal for fast cellular processes needing a high frame rate and long term developmental studies needing a controlled environment.
