Aurox, the Laser Free Confocal Imaging Company, has extensive experience in the design, manufacturing and distribution of innovative confocal imaging instruments used by scientists operating in the fields of Life, Medical and Materials Sciences.
Aurox was founded in 2004 by four renowned scientists who worked in the Scanning Optical Microscopy group at the University of Oxford, with over 100 years of confocal microscopy experience between them. Between 2004 and 2017 Aurox developed novel confocal imaging systems which were sold through their OEM partners servicing numerous marketplaces. From 2017 Aurox has focused mainly on the field of Life Science Research.
All Aurox products are based on their patented Laser Free Confocal Imaging capabilities which ensures lower photo-bleaching and reduced photo-toxicity to ensure the viability of delicate specimens. These systems do not have the restrictions associated with the more complicated laser based systems making them less expensive to purchase and far easier to install and support.
There are currently over 400 Aurox configured Laser Free Confocal systems installed worldwide.
